MEPs sell us out - again!

"Britain's" MEPs have again shown their true colours - by voting to welcome the EU's plans to abolish trial by jury.

"Corpus Juris" is the Commission's plan to introduce an EU-wide system of 'justice'. Naturally, it's slavishly endorsed by New Labour and all but two of Labour's MEPs voted for the plan. What is really astonishing is that not one Tory MEP voted against the destruction of our civil liberties. McMillan-Scott, the Tory leader voted to welcome in Corpus Juris. So much for the Tory Party's much hyped eurorealism!

The European Assembly vote, taken in April, "welcomes the Corpus Juris, which sets out criminal law provisions relating to the protection of the European Union's financial interests, since it might serve as an example for future developments, (our emphasis) and looks forward with interest (sic) to the Commission's report on the possible implications of the Corpus Juris for national legal principles"

Frankly, there would seem to be precious little point writing to these traitors to tell them what we think of them (but there's a list below anyway). What does your MP think about Corpus Juris? Does he/she even know of its implications? Is your local press aware? Find out and act, before the Euro-gestapo take you away.
