Keep Our NHS Public!
Campaign for an Independent Britain has been worked to alert people to the fact that one aspect of NHS cuts is driven by the EU Growth & Stability Pact. On 3rd March the TUC is organizing a major rally on 3 March 2007, at Victoria Square, Birmingham, starting at noon. Please help by attending this event and handing our copies of our 'Support for Nurses and Pensioners' leaflet, copies of which can be obtained from http://www.eurosceptic.org.uk/health
Coaches are to be organized from Leicester and other parts of the country.

Look out, SEERA'S about!
SEERA is the South East England Regional Assembly. CIB has consistently opposed the creation of regional assembles, which we believe to be nothing less than a European Union strategy to break up our country into easily manipulated regions. We gave full support, including financial backing, to the successful referendum campaign in the North East of England in which voters turned down John Prescott's proposals for a regional assembly in that part of the UK.
Now they are at it again - this time in the South East, where an attempt is being made to set up a so-called Arc Marche region linking South East England with parts of France and headquartered in Paris.
We are supporting a protest meeting to be held at the H.J. Wells Suite, Church Street East, Woking on 7th March 2007 at 9.30am. Stall and leaflets will be provided.

Independence is for everyone!
(Campaign for an Independent Britain is fighting for the political independence of the British people. We believe everyone should enjoy the right to self determination so I hope you will forgive me bringing to your attention a rally which, while unconnected with the EU, is connected to our common fight for freedom.)
On 10th March 1959, the Tibetan people rose up against Communist China's occupation of their country. In the immediate aftermath thousands of innocent Tibetan men, women and children either disappeared or were killed. Despite these horrific consequences, in the intervening 48 years the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan Government in Exile have adhered to and sustained a unique campaign advocating non-violent means to find justice for Tibet and its people.
Whilst the government continues its war on terror, show your support for Tibet and demonstrate your support for campaigning by peaceful means, join the Freedom March through London on Saturday, 10th March, 2007. Gather from 11.00 am at the Chinese Embassy, 49-51 Portland Place, London W1.

Nice work if you can get it...
As part of the EU 'celebrations' of its fiftieth birthday, the great and the good are getting together for a slap-up feed at Chatham House, hosted by the EU fan club, the European Movement (and doubtless subsidized by our taxes!). Peter Mandelson, Kenneth Clarke and Charles Kennedy will be among the has-beens - sorry, opinion formers - speaking at this fun-packed event.
We are organizing a protest rally outside Chatham House, 10 St James's Square, London SW1, Thursday March 22, 2007, at 10am Please join us to allow the real voice of Britain to be heard!
